After watching the way the US team is received in Mexico I was very intrigued by the article in Sports Illustrated by Grant Wahl. He discusses what life is like in Mexico for 3 different US players.

This is pretty much how I pictured it being for US players, needless to say it would be a tough place to play even though the money is much better. I wish he would have gone into more detail about what it is like during games and how the Mexican fans of their respective teams treat them.
Someday I hope to have the guts to go to a US game at Azteca and experience what it is really like. I have seen the pictures and watched the videos of the police escorts for the US fans, but some sick part of me wants to experience it in person.
